Google Managed Instance Group and Load Balancer with the Console

We'll build a Google Managed Instance and Load Balancer with the console. There are a few components that we'll build:

  • Instance Template
  • Managed Instance Group
  • Firewall Rule
  • Load Balancer

We'll cover some naming conventions and explain the reasons behind them. We'll also ssh into the VM to debug and show you how to test and confirm that everything is working.

NOTE: In the video, I used the naming convention demo-dev-web, but think that demo-web-dev is a better naming convention and that's the one I recommend.
